About True Love Canine Rescue

True Love Canine Rescue is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit located in Athens, Georgia dedicated to rescuing unwanted and abandoned dogs from local animal shelters. Organized under the umbrella of the Community Connection of Northeast Georgia, all donations to TLC Rescue are tax deductible.

Started by Chris and Michelle Rabold in September of 2008, TLC Rescue has grown to include over a dozen foster homes and volunteers. Since that time, the group has rescued numerous dogs from local shelters.

TLC Rescue was started with one goal in mind - to secure homes for homeless dogs in and around our community. We will always act responsibly and realistically within the means of ourselves and our foster families to provide care to each and every foster dog.
